Description:
If the mileage/kilometer meter has failed on your vehicle, then this gear is usually the cause. To avoid double assembly work, we recommend the pair of exchange of the E15 and the disc gear. You can find corresponding offers in the shop.
With the E15 a 12-k, 15-k, 16 k or 17-k, the disc gear can simply be looking for the names in the shop.

Mass:
Diameter E15 = 6.90mm (15 teeth)
for comparison:
Diameter E20 = 8.60mm (20 teeth)

A notice:
Either an E20 or an E15 can be installed in the Audi 80. You can find a corresponding offer in our shop.

Important:
The assignment between the engine type/gearbox type/year of construction/model to the gearwheel type is unfortunately so complex that only counting the teeth gives certainty. Therefore, please count your teeth before buying.

Quality:
Our gears are complex and faithful in the injection molding process and no 3D printing own buildings. We work with a manufacturer who specializes in the production of plastic tooth wheels and is the market leader worldwide with its repair solutions.
The so-called evolvent tooth geometry is maintained, only in this way is a non-frictional sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs.
As a material, we use the thermoplastic plastic Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and the wear -free operation.

If you disassemble the speedometer in advance, please note that the shaft of the speedometer needle is very sensitive. Grab the speedometer needle in the middle and turn clockwise. Pull lightly. Friction is everything the needle keeps on the wave.
