Description:
A damaged or worn double -ignition distributor can quickly have the fatal consequence of an engine damage. The first risk is the built -in, old belt, which drives the secondary ignition circuit. This belt has been exposed to heat, moisture and possibly worn outshade over the years and ozone so that it can tear through this wear and tear.
The secondary cycle, which is no longer driven in this case, releases all 6 ignitions on a cylinder in this situation, so that there are severe overheating damage in the affected and adjacent cylinders and cylinder heads.
