The crankshaft sensors measure the crankshaft speed and sit well hidden on the flywheel. The impulse provider transmits the engine speed to the DME and is a frequent source of error in the event of a round engine run. The reliable and precise function of the pulse generator is particularly important for motor electronics.

After the repair, no programming or the like is required.
