Description:
This ignition switch is mounted on the rear side of the steering lock case. The ignition switching switches are a typical source of error for starting problems. Please note that Porsche has changed the steering lock for the 2004 model year on both the 986 Boxster and the 996 Carrera/Turbo. You can see the differences on the steering switch through different heights and shape. The pin assignment, number of pins and plug shape on the underside is the same for both variants. We have both types of ignition switches in the program. The associated steering lock, in which the ignition switch is installed, has the part number 99634701706.

The company Meyle was founded in Hamburg in 1958 under the name Wulf Gaertner GmbH to export original spare parts of German car manufacturers to Latin America.
