Original Bilstein

Description:
This special key is required to install bilstein shock absorbers into a Sachs/Boge featherbone. The shock absorber has an union nut, which is screwed with the strut. To do this, the key reaches into the mother with the cones on display. The required torque can thus be transferred from the instructions enclosed with the shock absorber.
This tool is suitable for the shock absorbers with the article number 3900 (Set 1940) and 2996 (Set 1896).

As early as 1873, August Bilstein founded the Aubi company in Ennepetal and started the development and supply of single -tube gas pressure dampers from 1954 - a significant contribution in the history of the automotive industry. From 1961, the underthema got into racing and equipped Porsche and Formula 1 racing cars in particular. Since then, Bilstein has stood for excellent quality and offers various solution concepts for many premium manufacturers. After taking over from Krupp Stahl AG in 1991 and the merger with Thyssen 1997, the company name Thyssenkrupp Bilstein GmbH.
