Track rod head for Porsche 993 Carrera Turbo L = R
Quality - Made in EU
Description: The joints on tie rods are subject to wear, which mostly starts with a torn cuff. Once the fat has been washed out of the axial joint or tie rod head, the ball joint is excluding within a few 1000 kilometers. At the latest at the TÜV, the defective rubber cuffs or joint heads are objected to. Depending on the Porsche model, the tie rods can consist of two or three main components. This includes the axial joint as an inner ball joint in front of the steering gear and the so -called tie rod head at the outer end of the tie rod. Sometimes axial joint and tie rod head are still connected via a separate intermediate tube. Because the change of the tie rod always requires a new chassis measurement with setting the preliminary track, it is recommended to swap the tie rod completely depending on the condition. In our shop you will find a variety of tie rod heads, axial joints and complete tie rods with the right steering cuffs. Our service will be happy to advise questions.
