Gas springs are typical wearing parts of motor vehicles, the failure of which occurs after 8 years of operation at the latest. The cause is the pressure loss in the gas pressure damper. The better the material used and the manufacturing precision of the gas pressure springs, the longer they naturally hold. Easily understandable that the sealing of the gas spring fails faster and pressure loss occurs at a rough surface. Therefore, we only recommend and sell gas springs of the highest quality. The differences in quality sometimes become noticeable after months. Gas printing springs basically differ in length, hub, type of recording and gas pressure or the restorer. In our offers, we oriented ourselves to the guidelines of Porsche and selected the right products for you depending on the model year and equipment. Because it is possible that depending on the equipment (heavy rear spoiler or rear window wiper), other gas springs also fit, but originally a slightly different gas pressure is required.
